SSH and Family Table Donations
While we are not able to volunteer in person, the temple is continuing our commitment to JF&CS Family Table and Father Bill's & Mainspring Shelter. The Social Action Committee is asking the Grade 4 Class and the Sisterhood to lead our collection of items for Family Table and Father Bill's. Family Table - Canned salmon and whole grain pasta Father Bill's - Travel size toiletries and breakfast foods Please bring items to the boxes in the school lobby. Passover begins at sundown on March 27. While many of us are considering zoom Seders, Family Table's clients are not sure they will be able to have the items they will need to mark the holiday. Over the years, we have gratefully accepted donations of matzah piled high in the temple lobby. This year, we are asking you to go to Family Table's Amazon wish list to order matzah to insure that everyone can participate in this important rite of our people. Please do it now, so there are boxes of matzah available for distribution in early to mid-March. Thank you! *ALL Passover donations for Family Table must be dropped at the Temple by Saturday. Family Table is distributing items THIS SUNDAY. There will be no pick up of Passover items after this week. As always, canned salmon and whole grain pasta are welcome!*
What Do I Care About?
The Social Action Committee's 5-minute survey is coming to your email inbox! As part of the WDICA campaign, we need to know what social issues you care most about; this is your opportunity to have the issues you care most deeply about counted. Why Are You Telling Me This Now? Research tells us that you are more likely to respond to our survey if we pre-notify you. Now that you know, when the survey invitation arrives in your inbox, you know what to do!
