Dear Parents,
Shavua Tov! We look forward to seeing K-3rd in person tomorrow at temple and 4th-6th joining remote. All information/links for Sunday are below. Our wonderful NAWDTY Youth Group board has a special video message for the kids on this 3rd night of Chanukah. Please share it with them. Enjoy!
Grades K-3 In Person at Temple mainly indoors 9:45-11:15 am Please sign your health consent and drop your child/ren off at the Sanctuary doors. Bring a jacket as windows will be open. Kids can bring a small snack. Tzedakah is welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~ Grades 4-6 Remote at Home - and all Remote Students 10:00-11:15 am All the Zoom Information You Need Below:
10:00 am - Opening Blessings (live from the sanctuary with younger grades) Parents are welcome to join from home.
1) Latke Cooking Workshop with temple member Renee Goldberg Get ready in your kitchen to celebrate the Chanukah miracle of the oil lasting 8 days! You will learn how to make latkes, and enjoy them during the holiday. A parent is recommended to join you. You'll need: potatoes, onions, eggs, vegetable oil, flour, salt, pepper.
2) Chanukah Jewpardy and Trivia Games with the Teachers Enjoy some fun Chankukah learning through the popular "Jewpardy" game other trivia games, and virtual dreidel. Interact with classmates and teachers as you review your Chanukah knowledge.
3) Chanukah Rap & Rhythm with Rabbi Micah We'll sing some Chanukah classics and new tunes for the Festival of Lights, move around, and see a few cool Chanukah music videos.
Hebrew Learning Grades 3-6: December 15 or 16 Bring your Hebrew folders. In addition to regular learning, we'll be playing dreidel and other Chanukah games and lighting the menorah together!
Double Chai Grades 7-12: Wednesday, December 16, 6:00-7:30 pm Menorah lighting and Chanukah Celebration
NO K-6 Session on Sunday, December 20 ENJOY YOUR WINTER BREAK!
1st Night Thursday December 10 Light the 1st candle at 5:30 pm -enjoy songs, dreidel, and a Chanukah story for young children with the rabbis - pj's welcome! Zoom link (passcode: 321722)
2nd Night Friday December 11 Celebrate Shabbat & Chanukah at 6:00 pm on Zoom or Livestream. Family-friendly service. BYO menorah and latkes! Zoom link (passcode: 347260) Livestream link
3rd Night Saturday December 12 JNAWDTY and NAWDTY Havdalah and Menorah Lighting, in person, socially distanced at 5:00 pm

6th Night Tuesday December 15 6th Night Tzedakah Giving Challenge of Your Choice "Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech Haolam, Asher Kidshanu B'mitzvotav, V'limdeinu L'Hadlik Ner Shel Tzedakah. Blessed are You, Eternal, our God, who makes us holy through mitzvot, and inspires us to light the Candle of Righteousness."
7th Night Wednesday December 16 Light the 7th night of candles together at 6:00 pm distanced, outdoors at Temple with Double Chai teens (weather permitting).
