Wishing you a bright and joyful Chanukah! We know the holiday will be different this year. Please look below for ways to join your Temple Beth David community remotely in celebration, and for great resources to experience Chanukah at home.
THIS Sunday, after much consideration and given the forecast, we are going to try something different: Grades K-3 will be in person and Grades 4-6 will be remote. We know this creates some hardship for families, and appreciate all that you are doing to support your children. There will be Chanukah celebration for all! You will find ALL the details below. Fully remote students can arrange a time to pick up a small Chanukah gift bag. Please let Rabbi Karen know ANY questions.
Last week we announced our MAKE YOUR OWN MENORAH CONTEST! Be creative and use any materials you have at home (legos, clay, playdoh, lights, food, paper, crayons, etc. - this can be a family project) Bring it this Sunday or take a picture at home with you in it and send to the rabbis by Sunday morning. Prizes will be awarded!
Join in our communal Shabbat & Chanukah celebration this Friday evening from home as we add even more light.
