The High Holy Days begin on Saturday evening September 9 with Selichot, an introduction to the themes of the holidays. A spiritually moving, musical service including Havdalah, the changing of our Torah scrolls into white, contemplating our own turning, and sounding the shofar. This year we will experience a “Sunset Selichot” under the stars weather permitting.
