Welcome From the President

Shalom,

Thank you for your interest in Temple Beth David. We are an active and inclusive Reform community of approximately 230 families, serving 25 towns. We welcome people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. The bonds that we have with each other and Judaism make Temple Beth David a special place for our families. We look forward to helping you connect with our community.

Connections and relationships (in Hebrew, “Kesher”) is what belonging to Temple Beth David is all about. We make connections through uplifting Shabbat prayer and holiday celebrations. We make connections through exciting adult learning and our vibrant Religious School, which engages youth and parents. We make connections in our commitment to social action, through Brotherhood and Sisterhood activities, and new experiences such as our Congregational Retreat in the spring. As a community, we experience joyful baby naming ceremonies, B’nai Mitzvah and weddings, and support each other during times of illness and loss.

It is a time of renewal at Beth David with our new clergy. Our professional staff is comprised of an innovative partnership between Co-Rabbis Karen and Micah Citrin. Rabbis Karen and Micah help us strengthen our connections with each other, and with Judaism in meaningful ways. Our community is supported by Administrative Assistants, Helen Coates and Leah Graff; Youth Group Advisor, Hannah Cohn; and many dedicated volunteers.

We invite you to get to know us by scheduling a personal visit and tour. We also invite you to join us for Shabbat services or other upcoming events. Please call us at (781) 769- 5270 with any questions. You can also reach me directly at president@templebethdavid.net.

Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

L’Shalom,

Paul R. Greenberg President
