Welcome From the President

Shalom and welcome to Temple Beth David. Thank you for your interest in our community and we hope you will find your spiritual home with us. We are a Reform congregation that aspires to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a place where we can create, investigate, and strengthen our Jewish connections.

There are many ways to engage with us. Our wonderful rabbis – Rabbi Karen and Rabbi Micah Citrin – lead us in meaningful, inspiring, and musical services. They also lead our religious school, Shorashim, which provides inclusive and engaging educational programs for children and teens from kindergarten through high school. Our youngest children participate in Tot Shabbat programs and are always welcomed with quiet toys and activities during regular services. We also offer high quality adult education, including Talmud study and a yearly Scholar-In-Residence program. Our Brotherhood and Sisterhood groups engage adults with lectures, book groups, movie groups, and other social events. Our social action team partners with Habitat for Humanity, Father Bill’s and Mainspring Homeless Shelter, Jewish Family and Children’s Service, and others for activities throughout the year. We think there is something for everyone, but we welcome new ideas and new energy, too.

We hope our website gives you small taste of what we have to offer. We would also love to have you join us for Shabbat services or other upcoming events. If you are interested in additional information or would like to arrange a personal tour, please contact us at (781) 769-2790. You can also reach me directly at president@templebethdavid.net.
