Social Action

The Temple Beth David community is actively involved in tikkun olam, healing or repairing the world.  We understand that each of us has a responsibility to change our surroundings and by extension, the world, for the better through participating in tzedakah, justice and righteousness, and g’milut chasidim, acts of loving kindness.

The Social Action Committee knows that you want to help during this time of need.  Here are ways you can contribute to make a difference:

Food Insecurity – Need is greater than ever for food:
Volunteer with the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Volunteer at the Dedham Food Pantry.
Volunteer to pack or deliver food in several locations around the Boston area through Boston Cares.

Family Friendly:  
Send cards to Hebrew Senior Life residents to cheer them up.

Donate blood:
