Scholar in Residence Weekend

We are looking forward to an inspiring weekend led by Rabbi Sue Levi Elwell. For over three decades, Rabbi Elwell has been exploring, teaching, and writing about spirituality, and working towards creating and sustaining healthy and open-hearted communities.

Rabbi Elwell will share insights from Chapters of the Heart: Jewish Women Sharing the Torah of Our Lives, a finalist for the 2014 National Jewish Book Award that she co-edited, at Shabbat services on Friday evening.  On Saturday evening, Rabbi Elwell will lead a unique pre-Passover reflective experience, “Telling our Story: A Seder Celebrating Women’s Courage and Our Commitment to Freedom for All.” On Sunday morning, Rabbi Elwell, editor of The Open Door, the CCAR Hagaddah, will speak on “Open Doors, Open Hearts: How Seder Frees Our Souls.”
