Hannah Cohn, Youth Group Advisor

Hannah Cohn grew up at Temple Beth David, becoming a Bat Mitzvah in 2004, and continuing on to Confirmation in 2007. As a young member of the congregation, she participated in many activities, including Mitzvah Day, youth group, and choir.

Hannah graduated Westwood High in 2009, followed by a gap year spent volunteering in an orphanage in rural Peru, and working in a kindergarten classroom in Sharon, MA.

She graduated Cornell College in Iowa in 2014 with a degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, and spent a year post-college working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home, before deciding to move back to the Boston area.

Currently, she has hopes of entering a graduate program in Occupational Therapy, but until then is very excited to be working with the youth group, and watching them grow! Hannah is also working as the administrative assistant in the temple office on Sunday mornings. You can usually find Hannah obsessing over her dog, trying to learn conversational Hebrew, eating Thai food, or humming a section of her Bat Mitzvah portion that she just can’t seem to get out of her head.
